Italy 2006 World Cup Home Shirt
This is the shirt Italy wore in 2006 when they won their fourth World Cup in 2006 and Zinedine Zidane headbutted Marco Materazzi for slagging off his mum. Surprisingly they have only won the European Championships once, in 1968. The shirt was designed by Puma in association with a fashion designer called Neil Barrett; how deliciously Italian to have your shirt designed by someone who has worked for Gucci and Prada.
The Italy 2006 home shirt, designed by Puma, is a tribute to the Azzurri’s iconic style and their unforgettable World Cup triumph. The shirt features a rich royal blue base with subtle, darker blue panels on the sides and shoulders, creating a dynamic and modern look. The Italy national team crest is proudly centered on the chest, framed by two golden Puma logos on each shoulder.
